DOCUMENT CLASSIFIER

(INBOX MANAGER)

SprintHive’s Document Classification Service uses advanced ML and AI to detect and classify digital documents into types and categories.

 

The Service detects bank statements (and the bank it is from), pay slips, ID books, ID cards, driving licenses, fax cover sheets, and many more. The Service can be trained to recognise other document types and more are already in the pipeline, e.g. invoices, certificates of debt and offer letters. The document classifier can read files from multiple sources, like network file shares, mailboxes or cloud-storage buckets.

 

The Service also detects other attributes, e.g. that the image is from a fax, scanner or camera; that it is colour or black and white; that it contains handwriting; and more. The Service can decompose scans and faxes containing multiple documents into separate logical files. Classified files can then be routed to the correct service, queue or system

DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT  SERVICE

SprintHive’s Document Management Service stores documents in a POPI-, GDPR- and NCA-compliant manner and allows authorised personnel to find and retrieve them. The Client is able to call the Service by sending documents to the Document Management Service, which will Index and store the documents linked to an application reference number.

 

When data are extracted from a document, the Document Management Service associates these data with the document and makes them retrievable and searchable

The Document Reader Service extracts data from PDFs and other document formats. This converts unstructured documents into usable data. The Service is targeted at fairly standard computer-generated documents like pay slips, invoices, orders and any other business documents containing valuable data that would normally be staff-captured. SprintHive charges for every document where data are extracted successfully.
